Andromax U review
The design presented Andromax U resemble upscale phones, wrapped with a black glossy plastic material (there’s also a white version). Andromax U look pretty sweet and minimalist with a screen width of 4.5 inch IPS display 540×960 pixels. There was no physical buttons at all on the side of the face. But when the screen is active will see three buttons for navigating a touch screen that is standard home, back, and shortcuts.Andromax U features an 8 megapixel camera, a dual core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich which will be upgraded to version Jelly Bean.
New physical buttons of Andromax U on the side, on the right there is the on-off button on the left side while the volume of business. The top was only two jack, charger and audiojack to 3.5 mm output. In the presence of features of One Glass Solution, display panels look together with a glass coating in direct contact with the user’s finger so that the displayed image looks more clear.
For connectivity, Andromax U actually have dual (GSM + EVDO). Andromax U already supports CDMA 2000 1x EVDO Reva 800/1900 MHz GSM + GPRS. As for EVDO Rev A line on paper can be lauched with download speeds up to 3.1 Mbps and upload up to 1.8 Mbps. Predictably, Smartfren certainly want to continue to ‘keep’ Andromax U users to continue using their services, than rather than using operator services of ‘neighbors’.
In addition, there are also other connectivity like Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi with mobile hotspot capability and MicroUSB cable that can be used as a modem. In the RUIM card (CDMA), this phone uses a micro SIM card format. However, users do not need to worry because the SIM Card supplied in the sales package has been equipped with a micro RUIM. As for the GSM slot, using ordinary SIM card.
